This policy outlines Sfara’s commitment to customer privacy and data security. It principally relates to Sfara’s mobile applications on the Apple App Store. For information relating to Sfara’s SDK, please refer to a separate Privacy and Security Policy.

For the purposes of this policy, the word “End User” refers to the individual users of Driversiti’s applications on the App Store.

Sfara’s app collects the following identifying information from each End User:

Sfara’s app uses sensors on mobile phones to collect non-identifying mobility information from each End User, relating to the time, date and location of driving events. These events include but are not limited to trip start/end, hard braking, rapid acceleration, and distracted driving.

​Sfara acknowledges that the non-identifying mobility data collected by the Sfara Platform may be of a highly sensitive nature.

Sfara follows generally-accepted best practices relating to the technological solutions used to ensure the security of End User data.

When data is stored by external vendors, such as Amazon Web Services, Sfara has endeavored to validate that vendor’s security practices, but claims no responsibility in the event of a breach.

Sfara End Users accept that extraordinary circumstances, including data breaches, do not make Sfara liable for claims resulting from compromised data.
